In fact, there’s a joke itself like that.
How a guy in a scooter will come and actually ram against another scooter, which will be standing in front of a lady. And she will turn and fire this man. Let’s use HDB sequence.

It’s actually nice to take children to HDB, because unlike all the letters you write, “Beloved Mahatria, offering my surrender at your feet.”, this is one type of letter that comes. These children, they write, “Mahatria, you’re cool!”.
Very different types of letters come.
So in that, one of the letters Priyanka Soni writes, she says, “I will not be a SIF anymore.”, and my English is not much, but I have never heard a word in my entire life, which is SIF!
Later I realized, she has abbreviated “Stupid, Idiot, Fool.”!

This guy in the scooter has a pillion, and the pillion tells him, “How much she has insulted us in English?”, so he says, “I will also go and insult her in English now.”. So immediately pillion says, “But you don’t know English!”, so he says, “But I’ve written many leave letters!”.
So he asked the pillion to hold the scooter, gets down, goes to that lady and says, “Dated today. Dear madam, subject: two days’ sick leave. With reference to the above subject.”. That lady says, “You’re truly a stupid idiot fool!” and she takes the scooter and goes away.
The man comes back and tells him, “She could not handle my English!”.
Sometimes I think preserving the innocence of people is as important as providing them with maturity. In fact, faith itself, I realize, is a very innocent emotion. There’s no intellectual way to develop faith. There is no scientific way to develop faith. In fact, the more you analyze, the more difficult it becomes to develop faith.
The more and more I think, all these spiritual emotions of gratitude, love, devotion, surrender, faith, I realize they’re all very innocent emotions. I feel so grateful to you, is such an innocent expression. If you start analyzing, say, how much you have done for me to express gratitude to you, because I feel I have also… You are out!
If you would start drawing a tabular column to find out what all you have done, what all I have done, and then arrive at should you be grateful around, who should be grateful to whom?
You can’t be grateful. I really think love is a very innocent emotion. The more and more I think, love is a very innocent emotion, because once you start thinking, then insecurity comes in, judgment comes in, transaction comes in, give-and-take comes in. Needs a lot of innocence.
A mother loves the child with absolutely no guarantee what this child will be to the mother in the future. A mother loves the child inside the womb of the mother. And you don’t even know yet, it is a boy or a girl!
I realized in HDB, love is a very innocent emotion. Devotion is a very, very innocent emotion. I realized, you think too much, you analyze too much, you cannot believe in the existence of an invisible force above you. You need some element of innocence. If you start asking questions like, “How can Christ be God when Christ himself was praying?”, you know, a very intimate relationship now suddenly becomes very transactional, questionable, analytical.
And you might find a lot of answers. You’ll find a lot of answers.
But my point is, to be peaceful, you need some innocence. Materialistically, you have to be clever. Materialistically, you have to be nth level analytical. Materialistically, you have to challenge yourself with questions.
Materialistically, you should feel restless. Materialistically, you should mature. Materialistically, you should know details. Materialistically, you should have the nth level of strategy pre-planned.
I’ll put it this way. To win the game of chess, you need to be very intelligent. Having won the game, if you have to enjoy your victory, you have to be innocent. If you’re very intellectual, you cannot enjoy that victory. It’s not possible at all. I realized in this HDB, I think the responsibility of a source is not only to grow maturity in people, in certain areas, their innocence has to be preserved.
When the child says, “I don’t know why I’m crying, but I’m feeling nice when I cry.”, please preserve it. Preserve it. We all have a responsibility to develop a very matured world and maturity in this HDB got redefined, is not only knowing why things are happening wherever you need to know it, but I think there are certain areas where you should not know. Certain mysteries of life have to be just enjoyed without analyzing. Sun is Sun, leave it at that, you are so peaceful. Sun is a star, closest star, actually it never rises, it never… Sunrise, sunset no, for all of us is such an innocent experience. For a scientist no, “Sun actually never rises.”. You are out. You can’t watch the sunrise, nor the sunset.
Entire peace is gone.
